Graves McLain Proudly Supports Local Superhero Challenge!

Recently, Graves McLain was involved with supporting an important community event organized by Child Abuse Network. CAN is a non-profit organization dedicated to “providing collaborative intervention services to child abuse victims so that they are encouraged to embrace a future driven by hope.”

At Graves McLain, Tulsa, Oklahoma Personal Injury law firm, we have always taken pride in our support of local events and organizations that protect some of the most vulnerable members of the Tulsa community. Through our work with organizations such as Tulsa Lawyers for Children, Lawyers Against Hunger, and several others, we try to make a positive impact on the lives of as many at-risk members of our city as possible.

CAN’s drive to advocate for children that cannot support themselves speaks directly to our mission as a Personal Injury law firm that advocates for the rights of victims subjected to harm or injury through no fault of their own. Naturally, when we heard about the 2nd Annual CAN Superhero Challenge, we knew that we had to do our part to help in any way we could.

The CAN Superhero Challenge unites members of the Tulsa community with many important and worthwhile child support organizations throughout the city and the surrounding areas. By taking part in this challenge, participants show their support for CAN and help raise funds to discover new techniques and strategies to reduce trauma among children that have been victimized by child abuse.

Graves McLain is proud to announce that we pledged our financial support to help ensure that this amazing event went off without a hitch!

Unfortunately, one in seventeen children in the Tulsa area will be involved with a child abuse investigation at some point in their lives. This is a shocking and difficult statistic to consider, but thanks to organizations like CAN, we can reduce the number of children that will have to go through these terrible situations, and help treat and heal those that have experienced abuse.

If you or a loved one has witnessed or experienced abuse, contact CAN right away to learn where you can turn for advice, treatment, and resources.
