Graves McLain Teams Up with Oklahoma Association of Justice to Deliver Food to Tulsa Families in Need

With Thanksgiving just a few days away, the Tulsa Personal Injury attorneys of Graves McLain teamed up with Lawyers Fighting Hunger, the Oklahoma Association for Justice and the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to help feed thousands of Tulsa-area families in need.

According to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, 17.2% of Oklahomans are considered “food insecure,” which means that hundreds of thousands of people in our state do not know where their next meal will come from. Oklahoma is consistently ranked as one of the top 5 states in the country where residents don’t have enough food.

Lawyers Fighting Hunger is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the legal community of Oklahoma together to help combat food insecurity throughout our state. Since 2010, attorneys and law firms, working through Lawyers Fighting Hunger, have worked to feed families in need in our community every Thanksgiving.

Graves McLain attorney Rachel Gusman has served on the Board of Directors of Lawyers Fighting Hunger since 2012 and works hard every year to help make this annual tradition a success.

This year, Graves McLain is proud to announce that Lawyers Fighting Hunger raised over $100,000 in donations. These funds helped to distribute Thanksgiving turkeys to approximately 7,500 families throughout Oklahoma.
