Olaax Corp. Issues a Nationwide Voluntary Recall of Maxiloss Weight Advanced Softgel Diet Pills

On February 21st, 2013 Olaxx Corp announced a nationwide recall of their popular weight loss supplement sold under the brand name Maxiloss Weight Advanced Softgels. These diet pills contain the unlicensed drug Sibutramine which is not included on the products list of ingredients. Sibutramine was previously used as a controlled substance for the treatment of obesity, however, it was removed from the US Market in October 2010 because of the drugs potentially life-threatening side-effects.

Dangerous Side-Effects:

Sibutramine can drastically increase a user’s blood pressure and pulse rate. This drug also poses a great risk to people who have a history of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and strokes. Many people may not know that they have a history of heart disease until symptoms arise, this makes Subutramine extremely unsafe to consumers.

The Maxiloss recall includes all lot numbers of the product that have already been sold. There have also been several counterfeit and imposter brands of this supplement sold illegally online. Consumers are urged to stop taking this supplement immediately, as both the Authentic Maxiloss pills and all counterfeit lots are unsafe.

Product Description:

Maxiloss Weight Advanced Softgels were marketed as an “all-natural” and “safe” herbal supplement for weight loss. These pills are packed in a green or blue box containing 3 X 12  blister packs of pills, and contains the phrase “Batch Number: 001”. These pills were sold at distributors across America between January 2011 to November 2012. There are known to be several counterfeit versions of this supplement available online. Both legitimate and counterfeit versions are considered unsafe, and consumers should stop using and discard these supplements immediately.
